Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Programs

CBA has partnered with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Programs. The MAT program offers a comprehensive approach to treatment that incudes behavioral therapy and FDA-approved medications to treat substance use disorders. This program allows the providers to work with clinical reviewers to manage benefit requests for Methadone and Buprenorphine/Naloxone treatment and to ensure benefit coverage is applied in a consistent and relevant fashion.

CBA has contracted MAT providers located in most regions of the state. For assistance with locating a MAT provider or if you have general questions about the MAT program, please send an email to

BlueCross Medicare Advantage PPO Network

CBA continues to recruit eligible providers for the BlueCross Medicare Advantage PPO Network. It is NOT for participation in the BlueCross Medicare Advantage HMO program. If you are interested in joining the Medicare Advantage PPO network, please contact your provider contract specialist.

Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) Network

CBA continues to recruit providers for the Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) Network. Most exchange plans do not have out of network benefits. Please remember that HIX participation is required at the group level. Therefore, all individual providers billing under the same Tax ID # (TIN) must agree to join. If you are interested in joining the HIX network, please contact your provider contract specialist.

Please remember that CBA doesn’t credential or reimburse interns or anyone under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. We can only credential and reimburse providers who are fully licensed and can independently work in a clinical setting. Supervisors should not be using their information to file claims and seek reimbursement on behalf of the supervisee.

If you would like to assist CBA in enhancing the quality of care for our members, please notify us of your availability for extended office hours or quick-access appointment availability. Please email this information to
